The Asian side of the city, especially the areas adjacent to the Bosphorus strait, was the main gathering place for all the goods going to Asia, and so the districts thrived financially and residentially, acquiring a great tradition of trading that exists to this day. Right there, in Kadikoy district, the heart of the Anatolian side of the city, conveniently located on the E-5 highway and easy to reach, lays the Optimum Outlet Center.
